By accessing and using AutoAuctionScout ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

AutoAuctionScout provides a vehicle auction search platform that aggregates listings from Copart and IAAI auctions. Users can search for salvage and clean title vehicles by VIN or Lot Number, view vehicle details including photos and damage reports, and optionally request removal of their vehicle's auction history.

3. Use of Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Use automated systems or software to extract data from the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Impersonate any person or entity

4. VIN History Removal Service

The VIN History Removal Service allows vehicle owners to request removal of their vehicle's auction history from our database for a one-time fee of $40 per VIN.

  • Removal requests are typically processed within 24-48 hours
  • Removal applies only to data stored in AutoAuctionScout's database
  • We cannot remove data from third-party websites or the original auction platforms
  • All sales are final; no refunds are provided once removal is processed

5. Payment Terms

Payments for the VIN History Removal Service are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information displayed on the Service.

  • Vehicle information is aggregated from third-party auction sources
  • We are not responsible for errors or omissions in auction data
  • Users should verify information independently before making purchasing decisions

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoAuctionScout shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by AutoAuctionScout and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these external sites.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
